Betty raised six children on a farm in Platteville, Wisconsin while also working as a nurse and caring for her community. She knew what it meant to work hard, show up for people, and keep going through life's challenges. Her home was always clean, warm, and welcoming. There was home cooking, family gathered around, and a feeling that everyone who walked through the door mattered.
