Kitchen Spring Refresh
- Deep clean refrigerator: remove all items, wash shelves, drawers, and door compartments
- Clean oven interior, racks, and glass door
- Degrease range hood and replace or clean filter
- Organize pantry: discard expired items, wipe shelves
- Clean inside and behind all small appliances
- Wash cabinet exteriors and clean handles and knobs
- Clean backsplash grout and reseal if needed
- Deep clean sink, garbage disposal, and faucet aerator
Bathroom Spring Deep Clean
- Deep clean grout with oxygen bleach or baking soda paste
- Replace or deep-clean shower curtain and liner
- Descale showerhead and faucet aerators with vinegar
- Clean and organize medicine cabinet and vanity drawers
- Wash or replace bath mats and towels
- Clean exhaust fan cover and vent thoroughly
- Check caulk around tub and toilet, reseal if cracked or moldy
- Polish all chrome fixtures to remove water spots
Living Areas and Bedrooms
- Move furniture and vacuum underneath including baseboards
- Wash or dry-clean curtains, drapes, and valances
- Dust and clean blinds, shutters, or shades
- Wash or vacuum upholstered furniture and cushions
- Flip or rotate mattresses and vacuum mattress surfaces
- Organize closets and donate unused clothing and items
- Clean ceiling fans, light fixtures, and lamp shades
- Wash or replace throw pillows and blankets
Windows and Floors
- Wash all interior windows and window tracks
- Clean exterior windows accessible from inside or ground level
- Wash or replace window screens
- Deep clean or professionally clean all carpets
- Mop and condition hardwood or deep clean tile floors
- Wash or replace all area rugs and runners
- Clean baseboards, door frames, and trim throughout the house
- Spot-clean walls and touch up paint where needed
Outdoor and Entryway
- Sweep porch, patio, deck, and walkways
- Clean outdoor furniture, cushions, and umbrellas
- Wash exterior light fixtures and door hardware
- Clean gutters and downspouts of winter debris
- Remove cobwebs from eaves, corners, and light fixtures
- Power wash siding, driveway, or walkway if needed
- Clean and organize garage or shed
- Replace or clean welcome mats and entry rugs
Home Systems Refresh
- Replace HVAC filters and schedule maintenance if needed
- Clean and vacuum all air vents and returns
- Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
- Clean inside washer and dryer including lint trap and hoses
- Dust and clean electronics, TV screens, and computer monitors
- Organize and clean home office or workspace
- Check weatherstripping on doors and windows for air leaks
